Waiting for my real life to begin

I was listening to Pandora and 'Waiting For My Real Life to Begin' started playing...I didn't even really care for the song, just the title. I catch myself waiting for my real life to begin. What is that, really? Waiting for the easy life and thinking it might be just around the corner? Waiting for something amazing to happen? Waiting for me to change my approach and start doing good?
Here is the deal...this is my real life. I'm sitting here on the computer, like millions - billions of other people around the world. This is what our real lives are: family, friends, work, food, drink, laughter, clothes, sex, music, religion, spirituality...all recorded in verying degrees of truth on Facebook and blogs. I'm trying to figure out what would happen if I left it all behind. Would I be a better person...a better Christian, if I dropped Facebook? Probably not. Ok, that's it for now...

The old Facebook

I'm recreating what Facebook used to be for me, before I had 300 friends. Before my boss was on there. Before my in-laws were on there. When I could say whatever & not feel guilty about posting the truth. In fact, I'm not really sure who I want to read this. Maybe nobody. I'll have to think about that. Is the point of creating a blog so that others can follow it? Maybe this isn't such a good idea...
